The Human Rights Clinic (HRC) conducts forensic psychological, medical, and gynecological evaluations of foreign-born survivors of torture and other human rights abuses for use in immigration proceedings. Evaluations are performed by HRC-trained volunteer medical and mental health professionals.

Eligibility

Adults and children in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut that are seeking: Asylum, Witholding of Removal, protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT), U or T-Visas or Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS).

Fee

They charge legal representatives a coordination fee. Following the initial screening, they use a sliding scale to determine the fee for the evaluation.

Saturday: Closed

Sunday: Closed

Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Healthright International is a great organization for many reasons. They Give 93.5% of the money to people that need it and 6.5% to keep the company running, They also help lots of countries such as United States,Mexico,Russia,Nepal,Ukraine and Vietnam.

A respectable non profit organization. Their funding goes to good use, and the employees are friendly. Conveniently located right next to NYU as well.
